Heritage of the Village’s Housing Stability & Placement Program connects veterans and individuals facing housing challenges with safe, affordable housing while providing the support needed to maintain long-term stability.

This program works in partnership with mission-aligned property owners to reduce housing barriers, support successful tenancies, and strengthen community well-being. Our focus is not just placement, but stability — ensuring residents have the tools, guidance, and resources needed to thrive in their homes.

• Veterans
• Low-income individuals and families
• Individuals transitioning out of housing insecurity
  As capacity grows, additional populations may be served.

• Identify and connect eligible residents to available housing
• Support the housing application and placement process
• Provide tenant education focused on lease compliance, life skills, and community expectations
• Offer ongoing housing stability support and coordination
• Serve as a bridge between residents and property owners to promote positive, long-term housing outcomes
• Connect residents to additional community and supportive resources as needed

We believe stable housing is the foundation for personal growth, family security, and community strength. By combining housing access with education and support, the Housing Stability & Placement Program helps reduce displacement, prevent evictions, and create pathways toward long-term housing success.
